Sugarwood was a Country Americana band I started with Haley Mason around 2003. Haley sang, I played Guitar and sang a bit, Tim Chandler played the bass and Laura Mitchell was on fiddle. We roped in Reuben Kooperman on drums for this recording which was engineered initially by Trent Humprhries & recorded in our rehearsal "Shed" in Freo in 2004. I finished the recording and mixing at home.
We won WAM Song of the Year (Country Category) for the opening track "Dirty Liar". This EP is a nice souvenir of a pretty cool little band.
